“Highly recommended. An excellent hotel.”

After staying at the Sebel Playford on two occasions, I didn't think twice about booking us in to the Sebel Playford for a third time for an overnight stay. As always, the service and overall experience at this hotel was exceptional.

The room was clean and well-appointed with a comfortable couch, tasteful furniture, a king-size bed, and crisp linen. A comprehensive pillow menu is available and the toiletries which are provided are luxurious.

The hotel staff are courteous, professional and always willing to assist. The self-service parking here is also cheaper than other comparable hotels in the Adelaide CBD.

This hotel is highly recommended.

This was my second visit to the sebel playford great location (with exception of the lack of views) close to train station the mall hindley street if u like the exotic nightlife . Pleasant attentive staff with great customer service skills they make a real effort to conversate ..Rooms are very nicely furnished, lots of mirrors. . gym was well equipped ,free weights and fixed weight bars decline bench and several other weight machines and about 5 cardio machines nice pool spa etc the only things I would probably change is there is no free carparking included and u need swipe card to get up lifts so if u have guests u need to collect them from reception, outstanding buffet breakfast collection of health conscience options and it appears the chef has a strong love for chia seeds they cook the eggs benedict etc to order which is always refreshing. I also ordered room service I had vegetarian tasting plate was very small (cost was a fair $20) sweet potato soup was lovely and several other things, charge for room service was $15 which I find to be a little excessive id highly recommended breakfast for $34 overall pleasant stay.

Stayed at above hotel over night after watching the cricket at the nearby Adelaide Oval. Room was pleasant, bed was average. The service from the breakfast staff and the response from the management thereafter has been shocking.

Numerous grievances centered around shocking service from Natalie (breakfast supervisor) & Jessica (breakfast staff). Both were rude beyond belief. Constantly chatting amongst themselves whilst guests were queuing. Poached eggs took 22 minutes to arrive. Explained i didnt want them, but got shoved onto table whilst Jessica merely shrugged her shoulders and walked away. When i found Natalie to raise my complaints, she couldn't have been more dis-interested if she had tried.
Sought the Duty manger, after requesting to see her, (gave-up after waiting a further 15 minutes) who introduced me to the F&B manger Riccardo.

He waved off the breakfast fees after i told him we had not eaten anything and assured me the Hotel manger would be in contact within the next day or two. Six days later i emailed him asking for an explanation. Just received a stock-standard email back apologising and palming the issue back off to his F&B manager.

My advise is to avoid this hotel like the plague. Spent over $550 on one average room, with terrible service. Those girls who i encountered at breakfast were a disgrace to the hotel profession,

We arrived well before check-in time but the staff did their best to find a room for us by 11.15 AM. All the staff were friendly and went out of their way to help. The room was high standard and the bar service met our needs. A very good centrally located hotel in Adelaide

Once you've been travelling around for a while, all hotel rooms drift into one and what makes your memories of hotels tends to be the customer service you've received. The staff at the Sebel Playford were just wonderful - friendly, efficient and, one or two were simply charming.

Our rooms (we booked two for three of us) were clean, comfortable and quiet, although the hotel was busy because of the Bon Jovi concert in town on one of the nights we were there. We stayed for three nights in December and found the hotel gave us great access to the museum and shopping district and Hertz was just around the corner for us to pick up our hire car to do the Barossa Valley.

We ate in the hotel restaurant one night - a delicious meal; would definitely recommend that; and we had breakfast each morning in the hotel. Breakfast was a good spread, lots of choice - hot and cold - but there's a strange system for ordering eggs. You choose your hot food and order your egg, but the egg comes separately. It just seemed a bit of a peculiar system.

Still, a good hotel which we would definitely recommend.

Quite nice hotel, though entrance on the side lane may confuse first time driving visitors. The rooms are very clean and the king size bed is very comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast has enough variety to please almost all tastes. Great coffee machine.

We stayed at the Sebel for 2 nights, the staff were very efficient and friendly. Great location
walking distance the Museum and Gallery.Would recommend this place, but do check their specials. We were on the 4th floor facing an office, so it was quiet but not much of a view.
