I just stayed at this property for 4 nights over the Easter long weekend. I have stayed here many times in the past when it was a Hyatt and this was my first stay with it being an Intercontinental Hotel.
I had a great stay as usual and didn't notice many differences with the hotel brand changing, but I thought the customer service was much better and the staff were friendlier and more attentive.
The rooms are still comfortable, classy and very clean, the lobby is still stunning, but the hallways are dated and are showing big signs of wear and tear and could do with a refurbish. The sound proofing is great in this hotel and I didn't hear a thing from adjoining rooms or at night and slept great.
The hotel is in the best location if you are visiting Adelaide, very central to everything and I wouldn't stay anywhere else.More
