We spent a few hours at the museum, the kids loved it. Lots of different displays our favourite is the stuffed animals. It is perfect for all ages so much to see and learn.

“Very educational”

A great place for people of all ages. The majority of the exhibits are free to enter. If you don't like stuffed animals maybe give that floor a miss but if you don't mind if the animals are alive or dead there is a lot to see including Tasmanian tigers!

“Worth a visit”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 12, 2013

I went to the museum especially to see a Roman Engineering exhibition which as I have an interest in Roman history and it was excellent. The staff were welcoming and the building is a very pleasant place to walk around. Apart from this there are many other things to see and I highly recommend the museum to visitors and locals alike.
