This is one of the best "free" things to do in Adelaide!

It is easily accesible from the CBD, well designed, expertly maintained and very peaceful.

A pleasure to visit.

This is a great place to wander for a few hours, and it's free! Just make sure you feed the parking meter before you go in.

As visitors to Adelaide we decided to drop by the gardens on a hot sunny day to get some respite from the heat. Enjoyed the beautiful variety of majestic trees but found most of the gardens rather boring and could have done with some re-planting and manicuring. Can't compare with the Perth Botanic Gardens which has a magnificent elevated setting and Art Gallery to add another dimension.

A treat to go somewhere and actually lose yourself in such a wonderful place, So much to see, all ages were enjoying the grounds The smell of perfume from the rose garden was wonderful ,Also plants and flowers that were gorgeous with names I couldn't read, but it proves you do not have to know much about plants to enjoy your time here The glass house with a waterfall,, Artists sitting in the shade painting the the views across the park. I am not one to spend much time looking at flowers or not normally into walking that much! but this place is worth a visit so tranquil and I was surprised it was free to enter.
