“Lovely”
Reviewed April 27, 2013

Lovely place, lots of flowers to stare longingly at. Many aromas and bee's, killer bee's, watch out for them. Grass, tea, flowers, glass house.... Amazing conservatory....

I liked to walk around, sometimes sit and admire the view and go to the Conservatory where there are unusual and beautiful plants.

“Peaceful and fascinating”
Reviewed April 20, 2013

More than meets the eye here. A beautiful Victorian style glass house, museum of plants, superb old trees, a lovely cafe venue by the lake. A tour is ideal if you can book one. Educational, relaxing and fascinating.

“loved the new West section”
Reviewed April 19, 2013

The proximity of our Botanic Garden to the cultural highlights of North Terrace (Art Gallery, Museum and Library) makes it the ideal place to relax on a day when the weather is fine. Although we almost always use the Botanic Park entrance because of convenient parking for our car, we took advantage of the balmy day to walk to Frome Road and see the improved landscaping which leads to the (relatively) new Western entrance. The garden continues to fill its three functions of providing horticultural research, educational resources and aesthetic pleasure. Right now, as autumn deepens, is a great time to saunter in this inspiring setting.
