We visited yesterday and arrived just before a tour was due to start. This was very fortunate. The gallery has just been reorganized into themed rooms vice period rooms. Without help, the gallery would have seemed very choppy and disjointed. However, with the guide to explain the groupings of the pieces, the intent of the curator became much clearer. Having visited many galleries organized by time frame, this one would be very frustrating to do alone. Allow an hour and a half for the tour and another hour for those areas that were not covered.
