“Barrossa Valley Supreme 1 day tour 4th Jan 2014”

This trip is fantastic value for money, we were picked up at our apartments at 8.30am and dropped back off at 5.00pm. The guide Jane was very friendly and informative throughout the day about wine and the various areas we travelled through to get to each of the wineries. As visitors from the UK she offered to get details of the wine distributors available to us in the UK from each of the wineries we visited, as it would have been difficult to purchase items and get them home in one piece to the UK!!
All the wineries we visited were friendly and we learned at lot.
I would recommend this tour as we had a lovely day out in the Barrosa Valley!

“Barossa Valley 1 Day Tour Jan 25, 2104”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 28, 2014

For a couple of people in their mid twenties who don't have a particularly strong interest in wine, this was a really great way to spent day 1 of 3 in Adelaide. The scenery is beautiful and there are many varied and interesting stops including a small wildlife parks where we got to have face time with kangaroos. The bus was comfortable and had a good AC. Each winery was slightly different than the last and all boasting slightly different varieties and styles. The weather was perfect

“Barossa Supreme”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 22, 2014

This was a great day out at the vineyards. Our guide, Ian, was excellent at what he did. He was friendly and knowledgeable, with a great way of telling stories that really lent some history and depth to our tour. The wineries we visited we all great, ranging from the big names like Jacob's Creek to smaller, lesser known wineries. These lesser known wineries were ones we may not have visited ourselves, but they were well-chosen by Prime Mini Tours as they had excellent wine we would not have discovered otherwise. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone looking for a good day out in the Barossa.

“Marvellous McLaren Vale”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 19, 2014 via mobile

We did the 4 wineries 4 course tour in McLaren Vale. Thoroughly enjoyed this as a way to visit the wineries. Our guide was really knowledgable (sorry can't remember his name - had wine since then!!) First up Maxwells (my favourite) gorgeous wine with a nice platter of cheese and nuts. Always struggle buying wine on a tour as never know if you will prefer wine from subsequent wineries.there was only our tour (about 10 of us) in here and the size of the group was just nice. Bought a couple of bottles from here (ended up going back here for some more wine a few days later!) next up Wirra Wirra and the Oz girl on the tour raved about this place and a particular wine before we got there. It was busier in here and unless you stayed close to the counter you could not hear what was being said and could have missed out on a particular wine - it is obviously a popular cellar door. The food at this stop was once again really nice & the history of the owners was also really interesting (big cricket fans). Next stop Hugo's and the lady here was lovely as was the wine and food once again. Last wine stop was Rosemount again a busy cellar door and dessert (too much chocolate for me) the wine again really nice but by far my favourite was Maxwells. The idea behind the food and wine a great one and I really enjoyed it. I would give 5 stars but the food was buffet style which I love but you had to leave the counter (in all but 1 of the cellar doors) to get food and you missed out on wine better if you sat a a table and the wine was served only to your party. Great day out highly recommended

“A great day out”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 18, 2014 via mobile

We went with Prime mini tours and the day was very good. Hannah our guide/ driver for the day was extremely knowledgable and very pleasant. It was an extremely hot day but the air conditioned bus was ok and Hannah did her best so that we didn't have to walk far at any of the wineries. I loved Maggie Beers food tasting and lunch was fine at Wolf Blass. Good day overall.
