We visited here on a weeknight and there was quite a few people dining there. We enjoyed the decor and the service was good. Our steak was briliant but you needed to order side dishes, which irritates us. It was about $100 for our two main courses and a glass of wine each. We plan on taking some friends there next month.

After reading previous reviews we were unsure what to expect, however we were pleasantly surprised. Our waitress was friendly and attentive and the food was not disappointing. Service was not slow as other's on Tripadvisor had experienced and our bread was very fresh! Perhaps previous feedback has been noted.

We shared the chef's choice tasting platter to start, followed by the beef fillet (amazingly tender and cooked to perfection) and the Berkshire pork scotch. Great decor, very atmospheric. Overall a great meal and would return and recommend for a special occasion.

We were really disappointed with the service received, even after advising our waitress that we were not happy that we had to wait over 30 minutes for a menu and wine list (after asking for it). After offering an apology it did not improve the EXTREMELY slow service, appeared to be one particular waitress that was the problem, this is letting down the great food that the chef's are producing.
I have not yet had a reply from the email I sent to the restaurant about the poor service - which doesn't actually surprise me, maybe they busy!!!

The room looked fantastic. Service was ok. The food.. Not very exiting. Waited an hour for entrees. got given stale bread to make up for it.bone in my entree and also over cooked. tart case for my entree was obviously bought in. I would expect house made for the price.
An hour for Mains. Dessert boring. Get creative for the price.

We had fantastic dinner at D'artagnan on the Bastille Day. Very disappointed we were not given special menu on the day, but we made selection from 'normal' menu and had fabulous dinner with velvety wine. Highly recommended.
