Danny Blackman was our driver for the day.
On our list of wineries was Chateau 1847 Yaldara and Keller Meister - Both excellent with informative hosts and delicious tastings.
Danny was punctual, friendly and a font of local information as well as a careful and considerate driver.
If you love your wines, the only way to travel.

Hi 150andrewc,
Thanks for your review. Actually Danny C was your tour guide for the day not me. But I'm very happy you enjoyed the Barossa with him
I'm sure he would love to show you around some of our other brilliant food and wine regions we have here in SA.
Once again thank you.
Cheers

My original McLaren Vale wine tour was cancelled the day before, Top Food & Wine tours was able to accommodate my last minute reservation. Danny C., our guide was knowledgeable, professional, fun and flexible. He took us to 4 boutique wineries, focusing on high-quality wines, all charming and very generous with their tastings.

The day started at the wonderful Fox Creek and their divine Short Row Shiraz. Followed by Wirra Wirra and the sparkling Mrs. Wigley moscato, amazing! Lunch was at Serafino, where we did tastings while our gourmet lunch was being prepared and you choose a glass to go with lunch. Our group of 7 was fun, friendly and as someone who was going by herself, was so inclusive and made this one of the best days ever. I can’t recommend Adelaide’s Top Wine and Food tours and Danny C. enough !

We signed up for this tour a few months ago when we decided to do the Australia Day weekend in Adelaide. When researching the "best options", these guys seemed to be right in the mix. Great variety of tours, reasonable prices....what's not to like?

Making the booking was easy, and contacted them the day before the tour just to check what wineries we were stopping at- and they happily shared that information.

The bus and driver (Danny) showed up right on time. Danny was very informal but knowledgeable about the area we were going to, and their vehicle fleet very comfortable. We were initially quite surprised the tour ran as there was only 4 of us on the tour- however they said they'd rather have their tours operating regardless- which is great commitment, but also made for a great tour experience.

The choice of wineries was very nice - they were the smaller ones which again also made for a great experience. We had two younger Chinese ladies on the tour who were not as experienced in wine tours or consumption, so it was fun to help suggest to them ones to try. Unfortunately a lack of moderation kicked in around lunchtime and they were too ill to continue. While this may have put the rest of our day at risk, Danny and his team were great at not only insuring that our tour continued, but our ill colleagues were also taken care of and returned safely to Adelaide.

We truly had a personalised experience for the afternoon, and Danny was quite happy to take us to wherever we wanted (within reason of course) and then brought us back to Adelaide to be dropped off wherever we needed to get to.

I would highly recommend Adelaide's Top Food and Wine Tours for any excursion- I know our next visit to Adelaide and should it include a tour to Barossa or other, I'll definitely be giving these guys a ring.

Went on the Barossa and Eden Valley wineries tour with lunch, chocolate factory outlet and Maggie Beers Farm Kitchen included. We went to four wineries. All wineries were staffed by knowledgeable and enthusiastic people who provided generous and varied wines for sampling. On two occasions the fines tasted were tailored to your preferences. The lunch was delightful and the cheese as well as the chocolate outlets were brief but welcome. Maggie Beers was an excellent conclusion to a great day. Our tour guide and driver Innez was knowledgeable and forthcoming about the history of the area, the wineries and the pioneers who developed the area. Her driving was impeccable. Little touches like having a fridge available for perishable food and wine was appreciated, adding to the enjoyment of the day. The tour commenced a little before 9 am and finished at about 6pm mainly due to the mad traffic in the Adelaide CBD at the time of the bike tour

Had a beautiful day being escorted around the Barossa Valley by Innez. It was only my wife and I so Innez gave us the personal touch. We visited a couple of cellar doors in the morning and then sat down to a nice lunch. We were fortunate as the Tour Down Under cycle race was in the region and we got to see the cyclists 3 times. In the afternoon we asked to visit Jacob's Creek and the whispering wall which wasn't on the itinerary. Certainly recommend this tour company
