The hotel was very good in every aspect from arrival to departure. The staff were friendly and courteous and although I never had the opportunity to have dinner at the hotel, the breakfasts were excellent with a good variety. The rooms are spaceous and the bathrooms very well appointed with plenty of room.

We stayed in a deluxe room for 3 nights and found the service to be second to none. On our arrival we were greeted by the concierge who led us to the check in desk. Both were extremely friendly and as this was our first visit to Adelaide gave us some great advice on where to eat, shop and what tours would be good value. Our room on 11th Floor had a great view over Hindmarsh Square and across to the hills. It was quiet at all times - would could have been the only ones there it was so quiet. Outside noise was minimal. Breakfast each morning of our stay was also good and the staff once again friendly. We had dinner on Saturday night and that was also enjoyable. One small critiscm would be having to order side dishes with main meal, considering cost of dishes. We would recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to stay in Adelaide - it was convenient to all that we required.

Hi stayed one night for an :indulgence package" hotel room was clean and comfortable what you would expect in a 5 star, service was okay staff pleasant and helpful. package was not that impressive, champagne and strawberries served without glasses or a ice bucket just on benchtop, room view very poor could have upgraded for more money but then was advertised as an indulgence package with the extra money did not think we would need to upgrade had a view of a tin roof, could peer around a corner to see the street, breakfast pleasant,

We stayed just the one night but had a fantastic experience. Our "basic room" was spacious with a king sized bed, huge bathroom (separate bath and shower), tea and coffee making facilities, stocked fridge, desk with telephone and lamp, large wall mounted plasma television with some cable channels, balcony overlooking Hindmarsh Square with chairs, full length mirror and alarm clock with an ipod dock bedside. They also provided a pillow menu but as we didn't choose from that so I can't review it.
We had the full breakfast in the restaurant and this was wonderful. The eggs (except for scrambled) were cooked to order as were pancakes and English muffins. The selection of cooked food was excellent and the continental side of things was also fantastic. At all times the staff were exceptional in our dealings and although were professional were also friendly in the Aussie way that differs from other cultures!
Would absolutely recommend as the hotel is located centrally but not bang in the middle of all the weekend night noise. Go on, spoil yourselves!

My husband and I stayed here for one night at the start of our Great Ocean Road trip and absolutely loved it! The room was very nice, a good size and very, very clean with a lovely bathroom complete with gorgeous big bath. We were lucky and our room was on the park side so the view was nice. The bed was very comfy and we had a fantastic night sleep. We can't fault the service, from the friendly, efficient receptionist at check-in to the very helpful concierge who was happy to recommend a more casual restaurant nearby for dinner (Brunelli's just around the corner, can highly recommend!) All in all a fantastic place to stay.

The Crowne Plaza is in a great location, just across the street from the start of Rundle Mall, near the restaurants on Rundle Street, and adjacent to the bus stop from where you can go to Adelaide Heights.

The room was quite nice, an accpetable size, nicly furnished and with a good size balcony.

Service is a problem, perhaps because it is a new hotel, they haven't sorted things out. There was a bit of a line at the front-desk always. Not that there weren't people around, it's just that they were always doing something else besides serving you. The front-desk was unfriendly and didn't appear to care. The conceirge and bell staff, however, were very friendly and helpful. Two issues we encountered. First on check-in, we discovered that the safe didn't work in our room. I went back down and they said they'd send someone up tomorrow. They didn't offer another room until I asked. The second, and worst, example of poor service is the one day when we left the room early in the morning and requested, upon our leaving, room cleaning. We returned to the room in the mid-afternoon and it was not done. I asked them again to service the room. Two hours later, still not done. The front-desk team acted like they couldn't care less. The manager that I asked for didn't seem too concerned either but did call the room manager. The room manager, in contrast to the others, was very apologetic, explained what happened, and asked if he could make it up in any way. We declined his offer but, still, thirty minutes later, a bottle of bubbly showed up in the room. So, some bright spots but mostly not a good experience.

Thanks for a wonderful stay. From the moment we arrived the staff couldn't have been more helpful. After arriving very early a room was made available immediately which was wonderful. Located right on Rundell Mall was excellent (especially given the waether) Breakfast was great. I found my pillow a little high, but with the inhouse pillow menu the staff had a more comfortable one to me in no time. Check out way quick and smooth and a taxi was right out front when we left. Would definately stay here again!!
