Great little place. Lounge offered TV and computers. Dining for breakfast was large and offered regular continental included with stay.

Room was small but very adequate. The bed was comfortable. The staff were fantastic and very helpfull. The bus and tram are almost right outside. There are laundry facilites as well.

We walked to the market and downtown. It did not take long and was apleasant stroll. The hotel is more on the eastside of town and traffic noise was not a problen from our roon # 225.

We would stay here again. All in all very good value for money.

The Adabco is very reasonably priced and has a good location. The rooms are big and nicely furnished. My biggest complaint is that the beds are doubles, not queens. When I made the booking on the phone, I was told they would be queen beds. I would not stay here again because of this but if it's not an issue for you, then I recommend this hotel.

The Adabco ticks many boxes - it's price/quality range, location, standard of finish, service and facilities are right up there.
Pleasant, helpful staff to assist you. A nice decor downstairs and a well equipped, spacious room upstairs. No (free) WiFi but there are two public computers in the lobby.
Breakfast a little meagre, you might want to pop out to that little bakery down the road, and no restaurant - but the city is just a short walk away (or a ten dollar taxi-ride) plenty of choice there.

The Adabco hotel is a bit of a surprise package - tucked away on Wakefield St, upon approach it just looks like any other apartment block along the way save for a discreet sign on the wall. Inside are remnants of a more elegant time, but with modern fittings and fixtures. The staff are friendly without being over the top.
The rooms are spacious, well appointed and come with Peter Morrissey amenities. The bonus is the shared kitchens on each floor, complete with plenty of pots, pans, crockery and condiments to share. Makes staying in a hotel that little bit easier. Overall, a lovely place to stay for an incredibly good value price.

I stayed at the Adabco Boutique Hotel for 2 nights during my weekend visit to Adelaide. My room was a good size, very clean, comfortable queen size bed. The bathroom was a good size with a large shower - water pressure could've been a tiny bit higher however it was adequate (even for washing long hair). The walls aren't sound-proof however, my neighbours weren't noisy so I wasn't disturbed whilst sleeping.
The hotel rate includes a Continental breakfast (tea, coffee, cereal, toast) each morning, there is free internet on the 2 guest computers in the lobby, WiFi is available but at additional cost.
Each floor has its own self-contained kitchen & eating area for those wanting to cook their own meals. There is also a guest laundry (wash $4 per load, dryer $4 per load + powder).
The Adabco is located approx 10 min walk from the main tram line (Victoria Square), and is approx 10-15 walk from Rundle Mall (shopping and eateries). The majority of the city is accessible within walking distance.
Overall I found the Adabco to be very good value (booked through Wotif) and served my needs well.
I'd recommend the Adabco to anyone looking for value and a convenient city base.

Room Tip: I stayed in room 18 on 3rd floor.

Nice furniture, clean room, but windows are full of dust and rooms lack oxygen. The windows in the ground floor room couldn't be opened. Otherwise, nice stuff and very good location, close to the city.
