The reason we chose this restaurant for dinner was that it was close to our hotel. Little did we know! From the delicious Chili and Garlic King prawns to the Barramundi with Cockles, and slow cooked eggplant, this was an amazing feast! We finished the perfect dinner with a delectable Muscat and Chocolate Ganache coated with Coconut. We were very close to heaven at this point!

This was the first time I had been here for high tea...and quite frankly it was a big rip off...
We paid $36.00 each person...The web site shows this amazing spread well it wasn't.
Firstly they told us they were not doing high tea until later in the month but then they agreed to accomadate us..
Well they treated us as if they were doing us a favour...
No glass of champgne we had to pay extra on top of the $36.00 if we wanted one...
Then they gave us a small serve of goats curd which we had to try and share with 4 people...
the sandwich's came next but we were only served 1 each of the salmon and 1 each of the egg...too bad if you were a bit peakish..
No selection of tea just 1 stock standard type ... And that was it for the savoury !!!!
Next came the sweets on a tray ...small blue berry muffins that looked like they had brought them from Coles....and again just 1 each...1 macaroon each again shop brought and 1 litlle choclate each...we were then served petite ice creams ...the ones you call by in a pack from Coles..very strange for a high tea..
Finally the scones...welll don't look at the picture on the web site because our scones were sooooo small you could'nt even spread the jam on it...which by the way was not beautiful home made jam which you would expect ... No I am guessing they got from Coles when they picked up the other stuff...they did however serve enough cream to sink a boat...which we all had a big laugh about how ricudlous the huge pile of cream was on the serving plate..
It seemed as though they really didn't put any effort into it but still charged us the stupid price of $36.00..
I will never go back again and they need to serouisly rethink their high tea...If you agree to do it don't serve Coles food...
And the lady at front house needed to take a good look at how she presents herself and be friendly it cost nothing to smile and say hello!!!
MY ADVICE BOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE FOR HIGH TEA....

Had a wonderful family meal at this restaurant. The service, food and atmosphere are great. Amazing wine collection.

The banquet is an excellent option for a multitude of tastes. There are three banquet options. All are good, but the whole table must participate in the banquet.

The atmosphere is excellent and has a great relaxing feel.

This place is very busy. It is important to make a reservation.

All up, highly recommended.
