“Never have been treated this badly at a restaurant. Asked to leave after 15 minutes in the restaurant as we had not ordered enough food! It was 8pm on a Thursday night, and we were three 30 something’s meeting up for food, drink and a chat.
We ordered 2 beers and a coke and two Yakitori dishes to start with. Once the food had arrived and we had eaten 1 of the 6 yakitori skewers the owner came to our table and announced it was a $35 a head minimum, and that we were ruining his business! We had only been in the place 15 minutes, and no one else was waiting for a table. We were having a business meeting over a meal, and couldn't believe we were being asked to leave!!
We didn't even get to eat our food we had ordered or finish our drinks. I have never been treated so badly in any country, in any restaurant.
Still can't quite believed what had happened, and there website even says
" just pop in for a beer and have a chat.
The Mayor certainly does. And the Bishop, and the Vicar, and the cat..."
We were made to feel unwelcome for no good reason! Not sure why he felt compelled to ask us to leave without giving us a chance to order more food and wine.
A real shame, I was really looking forward to it.”

The staff at this restaurant are the rudest I have ever encountered. My friends and I ordered drinks and an entree to share whilst choosing our mains. We got talking and took a little while, so the chef came and informed us that they require a minimum spend of $35 per person, without even asking if we were going to order more food. When we informed him that we were going to order more he said that we were ruining his business and asked us to leave, even though there were other tables free and no one waiting to be seated. Absolutely appalling. Do not go to this restaurant if you are planning on making an evening of your friends. I don't know what the food was like because i never got to have any. They want your money and then they want you to get out. Actually, do not go to this restaurant, period.

we hadn't eaten at this kind of restaurant before, and the staff were really helpful and gave great recommendations. They even gave us a fact sheet on how sake is made when we asked about it. Food was really good and it's so cute in there!
