My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the twilight dinner cruise on our last evening of a five day break at Hamilton Island. We are SO glad we did this - it was a wonderful evening hosted well by cap'n and crew including a chef who clearly knew his art. The superb sunset during the first hour of the cruise was a terrific bonus.
The three hours had a great sense of being unhurried - the food was excellent, beverages varied and catered for all tastes and service attentive but not overbearing. And the boat itself is a wonderful piece of (recent) Australian history.
For a couple holidaying on Hamilton Island, if you only take one excursion, make it the Denison Star.
