We had drinks and lunch Tapas, sitting out under an umbrella on the beautiful upper deck.

The building itself is stunning, with so many nautical nuances in it's architecture, a beautiful raised flower bed in the shape of a longboat, all in stainless steel greets you, and at that time you notice the "boaty" shape of all the walls etc, and the roof topped with the graceful Manta Ray is just stunning.
At the end of the deck rises a shape that says , to me, breaching whale !! .... the clever use of the brown canopy over the upper deck bar is it's pectoral fin...... to me anyway ! ....... what do you think? ..................

Staff were very attentive and chatty. Drinks were brought promptly, however Tapas was slow to come out, but mostly enjoyable when it finally did.
Although, I thought a certain lack of thought was evident with the serve of olives, $12 and yes there were loads of them, that's what's wrong, too much money for too many olives, 2 of us eating them , and we love olives, but we couldn't even get through half of the serve!! Not good price and portion control............ and ....not enough Feta cheese and too much beetroot in the watermelon, feta & beetroot salad.

Overall though, a very enjoyable and serene place for lunchtime drinks and nibbles.

And the teeny bit bad? ...... well, not the food faux pas......... we went there for sundown drinks on the Sunday before, to find the club was closed for a private function, that's OK, but were assured that we could return the evening after, so we did .......... Rolled up next evening looking forward to a late dinner at 8pm, only to find the place in complete darkness ....... Yes, Closed!!......... And you guessed correctly........it was our last evening on the island.
C'mon Yacht club, employ people who know what day of the week it is !!!! ......... Would have liked to review their dinner experience ...............

We ate at Bommie's on our last evening and we certainly saved the best till last. The Yacht Club buiding, where it is situated, is remarkable itself in its shape and position in the marina. The food was excellent and the service was exceptional while being discreet. Certainly a restaurant to re visit.

What an incredible dining experience! The view is amazing and I highly recommend an earlier dinner reservation to see the sunset, just stunning!
Our waiters name was Chris and he was fantastic! He was very attentive and made us feel very comfortable! His knowledge of both the food and wine menus were outstanding!
The Alice in Wonderland dessert was a highlight!
A fantastic meal all round.

We went to Bommie twice, once for dinner and the other occasion was for tapas on the deck. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Bommie. The food was great, good service and quiet atmosphere. The tapas we shared with friends which we also enjoyed. I definitely would recommend trying both!

Wow! Very impressed by the view, architecture/design, food and service. We had vanilla cured salmon and cauliflower purée, oysters, lobster gazpacho, buttermilk sorbet, chicken roulade, steak, and a mocha tasting plate with white chocolate martini. In a word: divine!
