Lovely beach but not for swimming. Unexpected hazards like cars, buses and aeroplanes. Yes, planes. You can pull up and hire an aircraft and get better views of the island than you can from a a car or bus. The beach is a highway to keep your eyes peeled.

we drove for 45 minutes at 45 kph and never even got half way. Saw some 'Dingo's' which are apparently the most pure strain of Dingo in Australia. Loads more to see along its length, best you find out for yourselves.

a beautiful place to go for a drive and if you are lucky you can see whales, dolphins and a dingo or two!

The best way to get to the major attractions especially if you are staying at Eurong Resort.

Just keep an eye on the tide information so that you can be as safe as possible.

We used this beach route to reach Eli Creek and the Champagne Pools. Unfortunately so do all the tourist buses - but it is the best option rather than all the boggy sandy tracks if there is a choice.

We drove a good part of it and spectacular to see. But the highlights were seeing the whales just past the surf flipping their tails and fins, and there were also some interesting birds as well. No dingos.
