Great pizzas with a lot of on them. Very good value. Sad that it is not open during the day.

Take away only - massive, fully loaded deluxe pizza. Don't be put off by the dagga premises. Super-yum!

This neighborhood takeaway pizza joint is just around the corner from me and is always busy. Great tasting, honest portions with fresh filligs do it for me every time. Give up on the corporate cardboard concoctions of the chain outfits - you'll be pleasantly suprised.

Great to find somewhere in Townsville that does'nt skimp on toppings and quality.
They have a range of sizes, and yes giant must be the biggest sized pizza in Town.
True sometimes you have to wait over half hour cause its really busy, but so worth it.
Oh the pasta dishes are good too.

A very busy little takeaway place across the road from "Heatley High School" over from the "Long Tan" pool. People at work used to RAVE about this place (and they still do) so when I first tried them I went for the safe option of "Riviera Special" pizza (ham, pepperoni, mushrooms, onion, capsicum and olives). It was ordinary, ok, average.

It's a pity they don't have space for a small restaurant, this area of Townsville could use a fresh option for budget dining.

Back to the food, I haven't had a chance to give their pizza another chance to impress me since I discovered their pasta. The pasta is very good indeed, flavoursome, plentiful and cheap. The Riviera is upfront about the fact that you will have to wait (a little longer than similar places) in order for them to produce good food. The ingredients used are mostly fresh, and it's a good idea to phone ahead, or expect to wait 15 - 25 minutes.
