I've been going to that place on sturt religiously since they opened. The coffee is the best in town, and the service closely behind.

Have had lunch and many hot chocs from this place. Simply the BEST hot chocolate in Townsville. Also, great eggs and yummy deserts. Highly recommend, can't fault.

I had breakfast here this morning and the food was outstanding. I had the Eggs Benedict with bacon and it was great. The coffee was also good it wasn't to strong of a roast and went down well. The customer service was great and staff are really friendly. Great little breakfast hide out. Will definitely be back again.

I dropped in yesterday to pick up a takeaway coffee and was surprised to be greeted by someone with great customer service skills and also knew how to make coffee.

This is the first cafe in town I've been able to ask for a coffee, without paying for a double shot, to get it strong enough. The blend was medium and didn't have too much of an acid back on it.

While I was waiting I noticed they were selling packs of sandwich triangles to go. They were a mix of traditional triangle flavours, turkey, cranberry, cheese; roast beef with a good tomato relish (didn't taste like it came out of a jar), ...I've forgotten the other two but they were great. Really. The flavours and freshness were faultless and I doubt they'd ever seen the inside of a freezer. The only criticism was the price, at $12.50 for 4 triangles it was a little too high as regardless of how fantastic the sandwich was, my memory was of being overcharged.

It was busy and noisy and I doubt I'd go for a sit down meal unless it was at the beginning of service. Definitely worth visiting though as while the menu reflects lots of the normal short order cooking they seem to be introducing their own, made on the premises additions - a nice change from other cafes in town who just seem to open packets and reheat.
