If you are new to Townsville or just haven't yet tried the Ciabatta experience, you must treat yourself! The food is always fresh and the meals are creative. The staff are so welcoming that we always feel like we are dining amongst friends. A relaxing atmosphere and easy parking. Tonight we ate oysters, spatchcock, coconut, mango, prawns, gnocchi, toffee walnuts, deep fried ice cream... Amazing. Try it for yourself. Don't forget to book because its a favourite with the locals. L & A.

Ciabatta is the best place in Tsv to dine out. Amazing cuisine - every time. Excellent customer service - the waitstaff are very quick with recommending menu selections and tailoring a drink to your meal of choice. Well worth every cent. A lovely atmosphere.

Be hungry, and order chef Damien Tosh's new 5 course Degustation menu. You might think that at $100 /person it's a bit steep - but WAIT - it comes with 5 perfectly paired glasses of wine! Where can you get 3 entres, a main and dessert as well as 5 glasses of top wine for that price? Nowhere else.

PLUS - it's exciting food! Perfectly presented by Expert staff.

And Romantic!

The passionfruit and Lemon Sorbet oysters sound crazy - but are AMAZING

The macadamia Crusted reef fish was my personal favourite, but!

The aged, grain finished steak was probably the best, most tender I've ever had.

you will not go wrong.

Reservations are a must.

Early dinner to check out the summer menu. Couldn't fault the food or service. Bruschetta pizza bread was delicious. For mains we had garlic prawn gnocchi which was creamy, garlicky goodness with plenty of prawns and the confit chicken, chorizo and wild mushroom risotto which was full of flavour and completely satisfying. So much so that we had to ask to bring some home as we couldn't finish it! For dessert we shared the salted caramel cheesecake which tastes even better than it sounds. The staff at Ciabatta never fail to please

We had the degustation on a busy Saturday night. Service was friendly, the timing of the courses was good.

Oysters = amazing

Scallops = perfectly cooked but sauce was a little sweet

Barra = tasted great but a little bit dry ( no sauce )

Eye fillet = tender but over cooked for my liking ( there was no jus - not sure if there was meant to be some or not)

Choc mousse = nice dish but a lot of mixed flavours, possibly to much happening on the pallet

Wines matched all courses well

Overall for the price, food and atmosphere we enjoyed ourselves.
