Betty Blue in my opinion is hands down the best breakfast in Towsville, you will generally have to wait in line on a weekend to get in the door but if you have the patience you will find there is a very good reason for this. The service is really friendly and you'll usually receive a big wave and a genuinely bubbly 'Hello' as you walk through the door. The food caters from big hearty breakfast fare to very creative vegetarion to make sure everyone is catered for, definately worth a visit if you're looking for a great feed at a reasonable price in the CBD.

Betty Blue is definitely worth a visit for brekkie some time but make your trip on a week day if you can as it can get pretty packed out on a weekend and, if you can get a table, you'll find the cracks start to appear in the over-stretched service. Still, it has a cool vibe and the food has never been a let down.

Lots of thought and creativity poured into their menu and presentation. Enjoyed breakfast and coffee here on multiple occasions and never disappointed! Even on most busy of mornings.

Handy tip - be prepared for their "Man vs Food" sized portions!

Not fancy but very tasty... We had lunch there yesterday and were very very pleased. I had the pulled pork sandwich ( it is not like any you have ever had before) and my spouse had the chicken caesar wrap, tasty tasty tasty. They also do great breakfast and we are looking forward to going the again later in the week. A great little gem of a cafe. Do not miss it!

My friend took me there on Saturday morning, I had the House Beans, Chorizo, Chilli... was amazing. Delicious, satisfying, full of flavour & Crispy Buttered Turkish Bread on the side. She had the Corn Fritters and I was kept stealing mouthfuls when she wasn't looking, the Fritters were kind of caramelised and the soy soaked bacon was yum.

We went back on Sunday, because the first experience had been so good. But, different Chef. This time I got the Fritters and they were sort of half cooked. Bacon had been cooked in oven and my 3 pieces were all stuck together and sort of raw. The soy dressing was thin, didn't have richness of flavour & was watery. Sour Cream was sloppy and the presentation just was... average. We didn't finish the meals, just sort of picked at them. If they'd served us that the first time, I wouldn't rave, would just say this place had "the right elements" just couldn't quite put it together.

Menu is great. Variety, enough for everyone to choose something. You will have to wait for a table if you arrive at peak times, place is packed out & busy.

Overall, I'd go back... because first breakfast was so divine, would hope to get that Chef again :)
