Very nice Indian food - highly recommended - décor is attractive but tired . The food makes up
for that. Found it was in Laycock st. not Trickett Street though opposite MANTRA - LEGENDS Hotel.
Give it a go.

We couldn't work out what to eat one night and found this walking past and thought to give it a try. The food was excellent and quick. The restaurant was full but the food kept on coming, we were with a large group with some fussy eaters with requests and every one was served correct. The only criticism was the bar menu, we had to keep changing our drinks orders a they kept running out of the beer we liked, but that was a minor inconvenience on a great meal. Highly recommended for a great tasting, reasonably priced family meal.

I really enjoyed my (and part of my husband's) curry here. The venue was relaxed and comfortable and the food was just great. We ordered mattar paneer and dhal makhani and didn't talk for 10 minutes, except to go "mmmm, yuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuum" and point at our plates with our cutlery.
It was great to find a curry that had real ingredients in it-there were real chillies and chunks of ginger lurking, plus wonderful flavours. We were asked what heat we wanted in our curries and our requests were met perfectly.
There's a distinct possibility that we'll visit again before we leave here. I hope so!!

Disliked the entree suggestion from wait staff, got the bill cost $110 for entree, def not worth it. Food we ordered from the menu was very good.
