Been here a few times now & it's still wonderful. Very fun & interactive. Food was delicious as usual. We ordered a cheesecake from the cafe down by reception & it was the best we have ever had, Mango cheesecake with pasionfruit swirl-yum!!

Although this is somewhat of a western Japanese experience, it is thoroughly enjoyable by all. We were seated with some very friendly Japanese tourists that were quite shocked to order the salmon and see the chef start cooking it! I thought it was very embarrasing that the Japanese guests were struggling to communicate or find a staff member that actually spoke some Japanese. My sister who is a bit rusty with her Japanese stepped in to help translate. It's interesting to see how the Japanese enjoy our westernised version of their cuisine.

The drinks are lovely and there are a few traditional "sake" options too. We have been here countless times, and every time we have had a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Watching the food being cooked in front of you and seeing the chefs poke gentle fun at the guests (also by throwing prawns and omelette) is always enjoyable and makes for a relaxed dining experience with everyone at the table.

I love the atmosphere, the food, the fried ice cream/banana, the mocktails, the hospitality and of course the performance! A must do! Especially if you are staying at the lovely Marriott! Just a simple elevator journey down to the 3rd floor.

I have been to other Teppanyaki restaurants that are usually quite cramped, hot and noisy but BENIHANA is such a pleasant experience and by far the best!

We recently stayed at the Marriott and decided to have dinner at this restaurant.
The meal was a great fun experience and the chef's skills and humour made for a great night.

Overall our entire Marriott experience was faultless from beginning to end, this was by far the best weekend away we have had anywhere. We were delighted with our choice to dine again at Benihana. Our chef Perry has incredible knife skills and cleverly accurate with his egg aim as I managed to catch it first time! Considering Benihana is not a theatre restaurant the entertainment factor really separates Benihana from most other restaurants with a special mention to Nobu who sang from table to table. Nobu kept the fun loving mood high and very electric! The cocktails are delicious too! Fabulous! We will definitely be back!
