Overall our entire Marriott experience was faultless from beginning to end, this was by far the best weekend away we have had anywhere. We were delighted with our choice to dine again at Benihana. Our chef Perry has incredible knife skills and cleverly accurate with his egg aim as I managed to catch it first time! Considering Benihana is not a theatre restaurant the entertainment factor really separates Benihana from most other restaurants with a special mention to Nobu who sang from table to table. Nobu kept the fun loving mood high and very electric! The cocktails are delicious too! Fabulous! We will definitely be back!

My Hubby and I went here not really knowing what to expect having never experienced teppanyaki! Amazing! The food was amazing but our chef was bloody fantastic! Kernan was the ultimate entertainer! It was so much fun and I would definitely recommend a visit here when visiting the Gold Coast!

If you don't know about Benihana, let me take you back to those fun childhood days throwing M n M's or popcorn into your friends mouth, Great times huh? well here you can release some childish fun without your parents saying "hey stop that your going to hurt someones eye".

I hadn't been for a meal at Benihana for many years but it was great to re experience the fun I had remembered only this time a few cool changes.
I loved the new sake bar! a stylish place to chill before things get rocking, literally.
Nobu rocks out some tunes to popular songs (I wonder how many you have in your repertoire now Nobu?), very entertaining! the chefs all get involved with this to (as if their talented culinary skills weren't enough, with flying food and equipment and of course tasty!!!), they really get the beat going for Nobu.

So enjoy a memorable night! Catch a prawn or two, have a contest with your friends, perhaps the loser pays the bill?

Thank you Benihana for providing great food with friendly, fun staff at a pretty decent price.

We were staying at the Marriott and saw that the Benihana does their teppanyaki for $39 on Wednesdays, which included all sorts of things including a drink. We decided why not!
We were seated with two other couples, it's definitely not the place for a private romantic dinner. That's part of the fun though, and was a good opportunity to meet new people and share the fun.
The chef was of course very skilled, the food was very good, and we were extremely full and entertained for cheaper than many other restaurants!
Definitely worthwhile.
