We stayed 4 nights. Check in was quick and efficient. Spacious room, but dated with cane furniture. Roof top was closed due to recent storm, well that was 3 weeks ago and no sign of any fix up, would have thought this would have been done or in progress, so don't know what we missed up there. There was a dog present on the premises, which I think is a bit off. We couldn't bring a dog with us, so why should staff behind the counter be able to have a dog?
One day a lady was walking around the ground floor, and the dog was following. Not a good sign. Too bad if your allergic to dogs. Not much in the way of parking, only a few parks, and of course the staff park there as well which makes it even less parks for customers, not good. Maybe they should be parking on the road. Bus stops right at the door, with an excellent timetable.
Restaurant for breakfast and tea on site, but we didn't try them, breakfast expensive, cafe down the road, all breakfasts under $10, very reasonable and yummy. They also do pizzas for tea.
Not far from the beach, walking distance to Oasis shopping centre with heaps of cafes.
Not really a family resort, ok for couples. It isn't family orientated, needs more feelings / atmosphere about it.

Room Tip: If your allergic to dogs, don't go here.

The room we stayed in was a little odd - it looked like it was previously a studio room, but had a partition built around a bed to make it into a 1br apartment. Still, it was a good location, not far from the beach, and the pool area was very good.

I wouldn't recommend it for families. I can understand the reasons for some of the house rules, but no inflatable items in the pool and needing to ensure kids are completely dry before they go inside - it would be difficult.

Parking seemed to be at a premium too. Our room came with parking, but we found no spare parks one night upon returning to the hotel.

We stayed for 4 nights. The apartment was very clean, everything was in working order and the staff were friendly and helpful.
The location is good - between Surfers and Broadbeach and close to the beach. If you are going to Surfers or Broadbeach, it's a long walk, a short bus ride (bus stop out the front and buses go every 10 minutes) or a cheap taxi - in fact a taxi is about the same price as two bus fares so if there are 2 or more in your party, you are better off to take a taxi to either destination.
The pool is a good size and well maintained.

We stayed at the Marrakesh apartment for 5 nights in January. The location was fantastic, the rooms were spacious and very clean. The resort was sooo beautiful. Lovely pool. Going up to the roof top 10th floor to over look the city is a must. 5min walk to the beach and great value for money.. Couldn't ask for anything more :) a recommended stay.

We stayed at the Marrakesh for a week and we loved it. The appartment was very clean, it had everthing we needed and was comfortable to stay in. The pools and spa- very relaxing. It is located inbetween surfers paradise and broadbeach so you are close to everything. The roof top area is awesome, for bbqs and dinner! We would definetly recommend this resort, and will stay there again for sure! Everything about it was great! It is also very child friendly.
