This cafe was absolutely wonderful. The food, coffee and service could not be faulted. We went there every morning for breakfast while away, I would highly recommend it.

Café on Chevron Island so is on the northern corner heading towards Surfers paradise. Easy parking as there is a big car park just behind Thomas Drive as well as lots of on street parking. We went as a group of friends for coffee and breakfast. The service was excellent, staff really attentive, brought water over immediately, left menus, took coffee order whist we looked at menus and waited for friends to arrive. Coffee was great. Food was good and really reasonably priced given the portion sizes. A friend had the mushroom stack and another the salmon stack and both were more than enough for one person, I had French toast and asked for the bread to be changed for me which was no issue and it was really good and another friend had Egg and spinach dish which was also great. Seating is mainly outdoors with a good variety of tables, we choose the sofas/ banquets as we were a small group so it suited us really well. There isn't too much view as you are on the pavement. A few families came and went, there were a couple of breakfast business meetings going on and lots of people driving up for takeaways so it seemed to suit the needs of lots of different types of people. The waiting staff were so friendly and helpful and from what I could see very patient with some young children and were always on hand to get offer more coffee. The ambience was good as you could hear lots of happy chatter but it's hard to have a great vibe in a street type café, we had a great time catching up. I'd go again without a doubt and have no problem bringing my family as I know they would find something they would like or could have adapted to suit their tastes.

Great variety for breakfast and they will accommodate any changes you may need. Can recommend the prawn linguini for lunch. Beautifully presented and delicious.

Café Alfons provided us with an excellent stop where we refreshed ourselves with some very good coffee and nice breakfast dishes. The brekky club in particular was massive but very good to eat. Recommended if you're in the vicinity of Surfer's Paradise and want to escape from the hi-viz noisy surroundings that afflict that location.
