“This is a must !”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 27, 2013

I went with a large group of overseas visitors - none or few of whom had any concept of what was going to be put in front of them and out of this a word of caution.
This is a very smart restaurant and an understanding of what it is about is important otherwise this can disappoint. Having got that word of caution out there this is a ripping place to eat and be. Just great wait staff - ours was a noisy Cantonese mob who could not make up their mind and the delightful young lady we looked after us deserved a food VC
. Wine list was expansive but had cheaper options for those who have not won lotto this year but also catered for those who have.
Food first class and lots of foam etc while retaining the taste of what was being served in a classical way. Modern food at its best and not to savage on price.

“Best fine dining on the coast”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 14, 2013

Dined a few months ago and absolutely loved it! Without doubt, the best fine dining restaurant on the coast. Came back to gold coast a few weeks ago and could not get a booking. Still dreaming of the tasty food from my last visit!!

“Heaven On a Plate”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 12, 2013

We booked this restaurant on word of mouth recommendation as been very special. We decided Seaduction would be the perfect place to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. Seaduction is situated on the second floor of the Sea Temple Hotel in the newly erected Soul Building on the waterfront at Surfers Paradise. You get to the restaurant via a sweeping marble staircase which is a bit of wow.The décor was rich, warm and sumptuous We had a wonderful waitress who knew the menu well and was able to give recommendations. This would be the ideal restaurant for a romantic evening for 2, but also great for dinner with close friends. We were a party of 3, all with discerning tastes. We had brought a very special bottle of Champagne over from New Zealand to mark the occasion, and had requested in advance if it could be served. They were happy to accommodate our special request with an appropriate corkage fee. They have an extensive wine list themselves but were happy to make an exception for us . For the Entrée we all shared Pata Negra which is a very special ham served with crusty bread. It is from a special black hoofed swine which is fed for the duration of its life on acorns. Our friend had sampled this before, but for us it was a first. It was delicious and a perfect starter. My husband had the Sous Vide Duck Breast and my Friend and myself had the Poele Chicken Breast . We ordered and shared 3 side dishes, Broccolini with toasted almonds; creamed, truffled, mashed desiree potato and the rocket salad with walnuts and parmesan. The Food was creatively and beautifully presented and melt in your mouth delicious. After this veritable feast, we had no room for dessert. My husband who has a sweet tooth found no room either. A lovely touch at the end was a scripted Chocolate Happy Anniversary on a plate with two mini coconut biscuits. Sea Temple has recently joined the Accor Group , so worth while taking your A Card. A Phenomenal 5 star experience.

“Thank you so much for making an important night spectacular”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 6, 2013

I would like to thank the staff of Seaduction for making my parent's 50th Wedding Anniversay a wonderful experience. The Seaduction Degustation was the perfect way to celebrate. The food was amazing and the wines a true complement. The service was impeccible. The extra plate of chocoate Happy Anniversary and macaroons a lovely touch. My parents were then surprised with the firework display (a very happy coincident - thank you Gold Coast) from the window table.
Having to organise this from interstate I want to thank the staff again for all their help and friendly service.
