A fantastic night away with great friends. Fantastic hotel, great service and great food. The day spa was fantastic with the therapists on hand to treat you like a princess. My only criticism relates to the gym. There was no cleaning products and no water available. However, overall - fantastic !

Beautiful hotel. Stunning foyer. Brilliant staff. Incredible rooms.
We booked a jnr suite through wotif.com. worth every cent. The views from the room and the corner spa are incredible. Rooms are perfect, huge soft but not too soft beds. Decent size tv in view of the bed. We just loved it.

Stayed for 3 nights in a Junior Suite on the 28th floor......amazing views from the balcony, the room was spacious and nicely appointed....although I feel it and the general decor is a bit tired. All the staff from the porters , reception , housekeeping , bar and restaurants were extremely pleasant and efficient. The pool and spa areas are very well set out and provide a great area for kids and adults alike....of course being winter it wasn't very crowded. Good undercover parking. Only drawback the noise from the light rail construction....however this is no fault of the hotel and we would not hesitate to stay here again.

Of course this was your typical Marriott hotel, if you have never stayed at a Marriott you will not know about the comfortable beds and pillows it makes for a very relaxing sleep and you wake very refreshed. The beach style swimming pool was amazing and a nice change from your normal pool.
We ate at the Japanese restaurant and was probably the best Japanese I have ever eaten, wine list not good though.

Overall yes i would definitely return.

My partner and I stayed at the Marriott for a week while visiting the Gold Coast. The hotel was fantastic: beautiful interiors, relaxing pool, attentive staff and comfortable clean rooms.
We were very spoilt by our dining options: Citrique, the buffet restaurant, had an endless variety of well displayed seafood, hot dishes, carving meats, salads and desserts. Pizzas straight out of the wood oven were excellent and the laksa made to order was to die for. Breakfast was also delicious: do not miss the freshly prepared omelettes!
At Benihana, we indulged in warm wasabi oysters, tender wagyu steak and amazing seafood cooked by the funniest and most talented chef we could possibly hope for. It is not cheap but you are paying for a unique and unforgettable experience. They also have specials during the week and we tried the Wednesday promotion, which gave us large portions of delicious steak, prawns and scallops with the usual fun and great service for only $39. Forgot to mention: beverage was also included in this deal!
These places should definitely be in your to-do list on the Gold Coast! Cannot wait to go back!

Room Tip: Road work did not disturb us, but be aware of it.

HI Jennifer,

Thank you for your fantastic review!

It is great for our team to read that you and your partner were so impressed with our resort, and had the opportunity to enjoy dinner in both Benihana and Citrique during your stay.

We look forward to welcoming you back soon!
