“Reminded me of my childhood.”
Reviewed October 11, 2012

I really enjoyed Ripley's it was my second time, I hadn't been since the Refurbishment.

I really enjoyed all the information that was offered at everything that was being shown.

Of course I enjoyed/got creeped out by the shrunken heads!

I loved the Signed Michael Jackson's hat.

I wish they didn't get rid of the Rodney Fox section (Shark attack Victim) That had always been my favourite.

That being said I still really enjoyed my time!

The Staff were lovely.

I was suprised that they didn't have wheelchair access that I could see.

“worth the effort but a little expensive”
Reviewed October 11, 2012

one of the things we noticed on the gold coast is that children are generally considered up to 13yrs (inclusive). Ripleys was the exception. Ripleys charge 13yrs as students which still quite a bit more and adds up when your a family. It isnt cheap to visit and is very much a museum meaning there is alot of reading. the interactive side is good but the children move quickly as they arnt interested in reading all the information. This adds urgency to the adults making the visit less meaningful. As a family however we did enjoy the visit but just had to keep bringing the children back to tell them about things we read along the way,

“Better than expected”
Reviewed October 5, 2012

The kids wasted to see this exhibition and I was reluctant, but it was actually really interesting. I wouldn't say its cheap though. If you look in the tourist books there are discounts for entry prices.
