I would to thank the Marriott Vacation Club for organising the Hampton Estate Wineries tour, this was such a fun event and my wife really left with a big smile on her face. I really enjoyed talking to the hosts Jon, Tara and Andre. They really were a bunch of fun loving individuals which has really got us excited for our Membership. Jon Grigalius is a big ball of laughs and he really does care about the Vacation Club as he allowed us to look at some of the sites we could go to next year with our points the next day after the tour. Having the direction now, we look forward to coming back soon and using our amazing membership.

We were here for a family holiday. Booked adjoining rooms. The reception was fantastic. We had arrived early and the rooms weren't ready yet, so the receptionist gave us access cards for the kids to play at the pool. The rooms are spacious & clean. We got the room with the pool view & sea view.. The room also had a washing machine & dryer built in, so no worries about bringing enough clothes.
The salt-water lagoon was fantastic. You could swim amongst the dishes & the fish feeding activity every morning was a lot of fun for my daughters'.
The buffet breakfast at citrique was also very good. Overall a fantastic stay for us

Nice hotel. Had a washer/drier in the room so easy to keep up with laundry. Kitchenette is small: not enough dishes, can not really do any cooking (microwave is a convection oven as well) but we made it work, full size fridge. No place on site to buy essentials if needed, grocery is about a 3/4 of a mile away. Most vacation clubs we have been to have an onsite store for essentials. Staff friendly and helpful when booking tours, events etc. House keeping was spotty coming some days in the morning others late afternoon a few times left rags and trash in room. Pool: one with fish one regular pool.....not heated so on cold days its chilly water! The pool with the fish was good but they over fed the fish so lots of crud on the bottom most of the day, did not seem like the filters were working well and crud floating on the top of the water, need more structure for the fish very stark. Big conference while we were there and they did close the pool down one night. Have a kids club which is a secure place to leave the kids....babysitting basically. Overall good.

We arrived for a weekend stay at this lovely presented resort, truely memorable. The lady who signed us in at reception was pleasant and professional, greeted us both with a glass of bubbles & some chocolates, and guided us to the elevators to our accommodation for the next few days.
We only dined in the restaurant once in our brief stay, but the meal the wife & i had was most enjoyable.( not the buffet / smorgasbord - found the $82.00 p/h price a little outlandish ) can anyone eat $82.00 worth of food ???
Anyway the pool area and general location of the resort is ideal, undercover parking, close to the tram line, walk to the beach and other restaurants all within walking distance. We had a lovely relaxing break, thank you to all you staff.

Room tip: Try and get a room facing the ocean views / pool area if possible - spectacular views.

Far enough from the Surfers Paradise humdrum but also within walking distance for your evening meal, shopping etc. The tram line is 2 mins from the hotel entrance allowing access down the coast or to connect with the Brisbane train line. Uber proved a more cost effective option for short hops. The hotel itself was okay with rooms being reasonable standard. The saltwater pool with fish was a nice touch but the lack of cover / umbrellas from the afternoon sun was disappointing.
