We love Henderson park, very peaceful and relaxing, it recharges our battery's, loved the creek and the hospitality, the cabin was great, the sunsets and sunrises are beautiful. We have already told everyone how lovely it was. It truly is a little piece of paradise.

We stayed for a few nights in one of the cabins with our dog. The cabins are spotless and a good size. it is a great spot on Hedlow Creek. The sea breeze also makes the farm a cool place during the summer. Everything you need is provided. Canoes can be used to paddle the Creek. The back deck is a great place to watch the local wildlife! Plenty of turtles in the creek and we spotted a couple of echidnas on our walk around the property. The caves are only a short drive and the village has a great pub and local shop. The farm is also very handy for getting to Yeppoon or Rocky. The hosts are great and look after you very well. If you have a dog they will provide a kennel if you need to go out. A very enjoyable and relaxing stay.

Room Tip: Choose the cabins for a more private holiday experience.

We stopped over for a night with our three boys after camping in Airlie Beach. So relaxing and very nice and clean accomodation. The boys got to feed the animals in the morning which they loved. Shame we didn't book two nights! I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing break.

Room Tip: We stayed in the lodge. Fantastic

We travelled as three generations to this beautiful, family run and pet friendly farmstay. What a beautiful setting on the Hedlow Creek our rustic cabin had everything we needed, including bbq and fire pit. so we wpent out evenings by the campfire gazing up at the most amazing star show.
Our host were attentive but not intrusive and I congratulate them on such a wonderful initiatve, sharing their property and lifestyle in such a generous and welcoming way. Well worth the detour out of Rockhampton!

Room Tip: Take a cbin for rustic privacy or the lodge if you want the mod cons.

My family and i stayed at one of the cabins for a couple of nights in late June 2012. The kids loved the animals at the farm and the kayaks. The grownups loved the peace and quiet (even with 2 boys under the age of 6!).
Perfect location for a tranquil getway. We'll definetly be returning to the farm in the future.

My partner & I stayed for 1 night in Cabin 1 at Henderson Park. We wish we could have stayed for 2. It was really lovely. If you want to arrive early just phone ahead. They didn't mind one bit as our cabin was unoccupied the night before. Upon arrival the host showed us to our cabin which overlooked Hedlow Creek. We were also given a small breakfast basket which contained enough for a piece of toast, an egg & a sausage for each of us. The cabins are a charm. In the afternoon we took a canoe out onto the water & threw a line in the water. We napped, read magazines, had cheese & crackers, and lit the bbq for dinner before toasting marshmallows around the fire. The bathroom was very good, great water pressure, heat lights & plenty of towels & ammenities. The bed was comfortable & there was no shortage of extra pillows or blankets. We did not take our dog, but for those who don't want to leave their beloved pooch behind, there is plenty of room for them to run around. It's great. There is also a kennel at the cabin if you need to go out for anything & need somewhere to put the dog. This place is great for couples or families. We will be returning in the future.

Room Tip: Cabin 1 has a separate bedroom where as Cabin 2 is more 'open plan'. We were really happy wi...

This farm is a short drive off the main road but it is a wonderfully quiet retreat. The set up is perfect for small or large groups. We were in a large "motel" kind of room with a shared modern kitchen area and a large dining area. The hosts were charming with a wealth of knowledge of the area. The farm tour was fun and the creek was very peaceful. Our stay was too short.
