We stayed here for four nights. Was clean, highway location and not too expensive. Was quiet even though on the highway. Located within easy walking distance from restaurants, take away places and some small shops. Advertised free WIFI was not always working though. Management and staff were always friendly. Definitely recommend and would stay here again.

Needed to spend two nights in Rockhampton as my daughter was having surgery in Mater Hospital. Was looking for inexpensive, clean, central location, free wifi.

Centrepoint Motor Inn ticked all of these boxes. Upstairs room was spotless, with modern decor. Beds seemed pretty new (1x Queen, 1x Single), both my daughter and I thought very comfortable.

First night we went out for dinner, but I ordered a bottle of wine from room service. Impressed with pricing, not over inflated. Second night I had Beer Battered Barra with chips and salad from room service. Meal arrived promptly, was hot, fresh and very tasty. Again, well priced.

Only downside was air cond was a bit noisy.

Other than that, all good. I'd certainly stay here again and will suggest to anyone heading to Rocky, for whatever reason.

The refurbished units were well fitted out & very modern, spacious & comfortable. The staff made me feel like one of the family, which is great when I'm away from home lots. They had a great bar & restaurant, although the head chef was not there whilst we stayed, so even though the menu was limited, the food was great.
The only complaints were that I couldn't access the fitness centre until opening hours (maybe if they operated on a card swipe system, this would improve) & the shower pressure could have been a little stronger, other than that, it is very hard to find this quality of accommodation at this price, with all these features & genuine, friendly service in Rockhampton. I'll definitely be a regular.

Ok, rooms are a bit old and in need of updating, but OK for the money.

There is no hot Breakfast served on the weekends and no mini-bar which was listed on Quickbeds but not in the room, both are not good for the Business Traveller, but there is a lot of take always/ Cafes within short walking distance - would recommend Global Burgers - Just keep walking past McDonald's and you'll find it on the same side of the street.

We stayed one night during a road trip from Airlie to Brisbane.

We were given an upstairs room with a double and a single bed. The room was clean and comfy with a large TV - the bathroom was a little outdated and I am not a fan of the rest room style soap/shampoo/body lotion containers.

We ordered room service - I had the lamb rack and the Man had the hamburger. They were delivered in a reasonable time frame but the quality was less than average. Asked for steamed vegies which were crunchy and mainly consisted of cauliflower - not worth the money.

Friendly service at check in and out. We too had issues getting a park (it was around dusk when we checked in) - had to park no where near our room.

Room Tip: Room 14 is upstairs away from the road noise

Thank you for taking time to write a review regarding your stay here with us at Centrepoint.

Your comments are of great value to us.

We have passed on your comments to the chef, House keeping and the reception staff.

Regarding your car park issue, we are a 2 storey, 60 room motel with only a ground level carpark with an extra carpark at the rear of the Motel to accommodate all cars. So it's impoosible for cars to park outside there rooms. So I do apologise if this was a concern to you.

Hope you'll visit us again when your passing through Rockhampton.

We paid $99 for the night when we were driving through. The room was clean but the bathroom wasn't very modern. The taps in the shower were very sensitive with the hot water being tricky. Not a lot of pressure from the shower head. We filled out the form for the room service breakfast in the morning but when we handed it in we were told it wasn't available. Mattress was not that comfortable. Old style air con but works well enough

Stayed here for one night in June 2012. Located on the main highway not far from McDonalds, Hungry Jacks and an assortment of other eateries. All within walking distance. There is also a small supermarket nearby.

Efficient, friendly check in by Kerry at reception. Provided with a small carton of fresh milk.
Double room on ground floor ($99 booked through hotel website) appeared clean and fresh upon arrival. There were also rooms located upstairs - no lift available for those with walking impediments or having to drag bags etc.

The room had double bed with side tables and bed lights. Air con, flat screen tv, small fridge, table and chairs, sofa, microwave and tea making facilities. There was also a stocked mini bar. There was an ironing board and extra pillows.

Small bathroom with toilet and shower. There is also a pool at this property.

There is an onsite restaurant - I did not have a meal, but the menu indicates that the cheapest main is a risotto at $20.

Even though this property is located right on the highway, I did not really notice any road noise.

The one down side that I found was that parking in front of the rooms was really tight and not everyone was able to park near their rooms. I noticed an extra dark parking lot out the back on a laneway. Not sure if I would have liked to leave my vehicle there though.

I have stayed at other similarly priced motels in the vicinity, and because of the tight parking I would probably stay somewhere else next time. I have previously submitted reviews on the Golden Fountain (near southern entrance of town) and the Ambassador(on the northside near overhead pedestrian bridge). Have also stayed at the Metro Inn where the parking was really tight - so if you have a larger style vehicle this may be a concern.

Room Tip: Ask for a downstairs room if you don't want to lug suitcases up a set of steps, or if you have m...

Thank you so much for your review on your stay here at Centrepoint.

We do value our guests feedback on there stay with us.

I have passed your comments to our team.

We have put a new room service menu in the rooms which is a winner with our guests who stay. So next time you stay with us you must try and will be very satisified.

We do have a stair lift for those guests that require aid to the upper level.

Our carpark is only ground level for our 2 storey 60 room Motel so we have our extra carpark at the rear of the Motel which accommodates all car spaces for our rooms and is well lit and monitored during the night by the Managers.

Looking forward to seeing you again on your next travels in Rockhampton.
