Giddy Goat has a bar side and a cafe side to the establishment. We lunched in the cafe. The food was good, having the usual Australian light meal menu at the usual prices. Outdoor seating is on the pavement/sidewalk of one of the town's principal shopping streets so there's lots to watch while you eat.
Their dessert selection is reasonable, with something from most of the continents -- pecan pie, carrot cake, tropical fruit baked goods, etc.
Indoors is air-conditioned with an interestingly eclectic decor ranging from the 1930's through to the 1970's.
It's a busy spot at lunch time with shoppers and friends meeting and greeting, which makes for a 'hometown' feel that makes visitors feel they're really being part of a location and not just watching it.
