“Lovely native flora.”
Reviewed March 11, 2012

Lovely native flora. I always enjoy coming back here. Great for a stroll, great for young children especially if they have their bikes. Nice place for a BBQ.

“An Oasis”
Reviewed January 18, 2012

This is garden on the edge of the main highway through Rockhampton, it has large gardens with water features and local vegetation. It is worth a stop if travelling to stretch the legs and taken in gardens, bird life and other creatures. Or just to visit and see the sights and have a picnic. Don't forget the inspect repellent, the mozzies can be friendly.

“Great peddle ride for kids, not much for adults”
Reviewed December 14, 2010

This garden is famous for its artificial waterfall which graces many Rockhampton postcards. This is a large park with plenty of space to roam but is generally uninspiring with its landscaping and in some parts a little rundown
The kids play area had a great peddle car railride but that's about it.
There is an old historical railway station here. The waterfall mentioned earlier, affronts the highway as you are entering/exiting Rockhampton. Be warned - there can be a lot of mosquitoes here, especially in the summer.
