Superb restaurant. Minor confusion over a table booking and the specials and paella tend to run out quick! However seafood excellent, seafood platter was top notch with an excellent selection....gnocchi with blu cheese sauce was delightful and the wine was well priced. The brûlée as others on here say is simply to die for!

After reading all the reviews on this place we thought this was going to be a great to place to eat at. We were disappointed for the start as we waited half hour for our booked table to become free. The entree was probably the best part if the night. We had the dips. The mains we had were the seafood paella and the seafood platter. Both were no where near up to standards with the seafood clearly not fresh and the rice in the paella was no where near what rice in a paella should be like. The desert was ok but nothing to rave on like everyone else.

Hooray to the hard working chefs, barman, waitress and owner of Seabean! My fiance and I dined at Seabean last night (without a booking). We had walked past earlier in the day and the sign for coconut creme brûlée lingered in my mind. We are grateful they had a couple of tables available at 8pm.
Today we are back at our home in Cairns, however the memory of their delicious deserts still linger... The bombe alaska and coconut creme brûlée was incredible!! The tapas menu which included crocodile croquettes was delicious too. We will be back!

We stumbled across this place by accident but we were sure glad we found it, we did not have a reservation but they managed to still find us a table after a short wait. It was worth the wait because the food was fantastic. The service was very personalised and friendly.
