“Great place to dine”
Reviewed November 1, 2012 via mobile

We stopped here by chance for dinner with our baby in a pram. The staff were so accommodating and found us a lovely quiet spot outside so our baby could sleep.
The ambience was fabulous sitting under the trees and the service was great!
Food was delicious - my reef fish was sensational and my husband thoroughly enjoyed his paella. Will give a special mention to the crocodile croquettes - yum!

Highly recommend Seabean - thanks guys!

“Nice food, good service”
Reviewed October 26, 2012

Another restaurant where we got away with not booking ahead but one feels it could be a different story in the peek season.
We sat outside on the pavement which was fine. The service was very good and the food was excellent. Would certainly go again, pity its so far from the UK!

“Food Heaven in Port Douglas”
Reviewed October 21, 2012

My wife and I walked around for about half an hour looking for somewhere that appealed to us for dinner, on our way around to the marina we came across this beautiful little restaurant, they managed to squeeze us in without a booking, I couldn't commend the staff higher on their friendliness and service and the food was absolutely exquisite. I had the marinara which was jam packed full of beautifully cooked, fresh, local seafood with beautiful al dente linguine and my better half had a beautiful tender steak on a lovely bed of mash with wilted green beans and a scrumptious jus, the garlic bread was also exceptional and the drinks selection is very extensive and they can whip up a mean cocktail, I'm just glad we have another week up here because we will DEFINITELY be returning to Seabean!

“average”

i specially went for the coconut creme brulee. I was very disappointed. The presentation was wonderful however the custard lacked flavour and was not sweet enough. The toffee coating was very thin and flavourless as well and it was a very expensive dessert
