This was one of the best overall dining experiences I've had in far north QLD. They accommodated the whole family and made the children feel welcome. They had cushions for them to sit on, and when my 5 yo daughter spilled her water all over herself and the table, waiters rushed from everywhere to reset things and make us feel comfortable again.
The food was divine. I had Duck Pancakes for entree and Yellowfin Tuna Tataki (another entree) for main. Magnificent. Others had Garlic Prawn Hotpot and Scallop & Pork Belly for entree. Mains of Seared Yellowfin Tuna, Eye Fillet, and Prawn and Scallop Ravioli were delicious too. The kids meals were very generous. We were too full for dessert but the list was enticing. It wasn't a cheap night out but it wasn't too expensive either. Definitely value for money.
The ambiance was also really nice. Lovely lighting and the bar was a nice place for a drink before dinner or after if you didn't have kids to get to bed. Definitely worth a visit.
