“Banana barra - a must try”
Reviewed July 30, 2014

We got a table for 4 by the window on a Saturday night without a reservation and the service was friendly and attentive, but the best was yet to come - the Banana fish baked barramundi dish was devine and succulent and the Massaman curry very tasty.

“Awful!”
Reviewed July 21, 2014 via mobile

We ordered 2 takeaway main dishes, an entree and steamed rice. The rice was ok, but the rest of the meal was appalling. The meat dish was flavorless and the chicken cashew was not much better - hardly any cashews and not much flavour either! I have eaten lots of Thai, from lots of places before, but this would have to be the worse. Also, it would be helpful if they had somewhere for their takeaway customers to wait for their meals.

“Good Thai Food”
Reviewed July 13, 2014

During our stay in Port Douglas this was the only restaurant that we ate in twice. It doesn't look much, but the food was great. The Tom Yum (hot & Sour) soup was excellent. The food was very authentic and it tasted good. One area for improvement is the service. Our fried rice was attempted to be served with our soup, as was our roti bread. We had to turn both away and ask for it to be served with our mains. The staff seemed a little confused. With the exception of the questionable service the food was excellent and the overall experience was good. The restuarant is BYO and the Irish pub next door has a liquor store.

“Delicious Thai food”

Went here several times during our weekend away in Port Douglas as we loved it so much. Beautiful and delicious food, great service and cheap BYO! Definitely recommend!

“Good Thai Food and Good Service”
Reviewed July 10, 2014

We dined here on a Saturday night which was pretty busy, but we got good service from the wait staff. The food was really decent Thai food at a decent price.

The BYO licence was also an attraction as we could take a decent bottle of wine purchased at the local liquor store and only had to pay $1 corkage.
