“Another not to miss Port Douglas restaurant”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 24, 2014

The popular restaurants in PD you really do have to book in advance , we were lucky in making a booking at as we passed by at lunch time , they could fit us in at 8.15 that night for dinner . Another outstanding memorable meal , from a special's board that took quite some time to digest. , so much choice and plumped for the nanagai , delicious fish , attentive waitresses in a busy busy environment , the place has a buzzy atmosphere and is very popular . Don't miss dessert , like a mini degustation , with three tastes on the plate , they were beautifully presented and delicious. Another great evening out and was booked out for a private. Function the following night . A highlight of our trip to PD.

“Specially love the tapas and entrees here”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 23, 2014

Love Salsa, staff are consistently warm and welcoming, the Tapas are stunning and entrees and desserts are great. My experience of mains is mixed, I would not have the duck tagine again as it doesn't have good strong Morrocan flavours.

“Laid back in a great location”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 23, 2014 via mobile

We stopped in for some tapas and a few drinks one afternoon on our recent trip.
We enjoyed the outlook and having a few tapas dishes - whilst mainly deep fried they were presented well and tasted good. Chicken Quisidellas were the standout and a nice way to enjoy some snacks with a cold drink. Drinks were also 25% off between 3pm-5pm (when tapas was served) which made them good value. Would return.

“Just the best restaurant in town!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 23, 2014

We have eaten here three timessince arriving back in Port Douglas late June. First and third time was dinner with friends and our meals were as good as ever. Service is impeccable -friendly and helpful. The food presentation is a highlight of the delicious meals and the chefs seem to always come up with something stunning and new.
Our second meal was a spur of the moment decision to have lunch yesterday and we enjoyed two delicious entrees of tacos of fillet of beef tartare and a braised lamb brick. We then shared the signature dish of pepperincino linguine with red claw-probably the best one of these we've ever eaten and my husband admits to probably having had this meal 20+ times over the years.
We finished sharing a stunning dessert of Cinnamon parfait with Dragon Fruit sorbet and Strawberry and blood orange salsa.
