Description: Whether you’re in town for a wedding, a work-do, or a roadtrip north, no self-respecting blow-in could stake their claim on this beachside village without having tackled a T-bone, kissed a canetoad, or mislaid hours on the dance floor at the IronBar. Quite frankly, you haven’t been to Port Douglas if you haven’t been to the IronBar. The IronBar is pretty much synonymous with “ripper of a good time”, whether as a restaurant, bar, state-of-the-art gaming lounge or mecca for late night shenanigans. By day, a popular dining destination, the IronBar’s steakhouse menu features a lip smacking range of your favourite Aussie pub eats. An esky-cool bar provides welcome relief from the tropics, with a range of Australian and imported beers. Expect the unexpected after dinner, as the IronBar transforms into a battleground for the Far North’s most virulent pest-hello cane toad racing! Retreat to the cool of upstairs' sports bar and gaming lounge till the wee hours or dance the night away!

Actually took a few photos of this place the day before dining there as it looked so cool. Great decor and good pub style food. Loved my barramundi spring rolls and the mojitos were pretty great too. Didn't realise the Cane Toad races they have there are actually a separate business to the Iron Bar and were surprised after just handing over $150 for meals and drinks that it was going to be another $5 each to watch the races - so we didn't bother.

Just popped in for the lunch special of Barramundi and chips for $10. Service was very fast and for the money the food was excellent. Would recommend the lunch special.

We had a couple of meals at this restaurant.

Lunch of Seafood Pizza. Lots of salmon and prawns and fish on a thin base Absolutely delicious.

An evening meal of eye fillet. The steak was so tender and cooked to perfection. The mash was creamy and the vegetables so fresh.

A meal of fish and chips that my husband had was superb. Beautiful fish with lovely fresh salad.

This restaurant is well worth a visit.

Bottles of lovely cold iced water are provided and well needed on a hot day.

The staff are friendly but not intrusive.

Sit , eat ,relax outside and watch the people go by.

Very poor service, limited menu choices, pub type grub, but in generous servings. I won't be hurrying back

We order a Seafood Platter for 2 ($79) and a Chocolate MUD Cake as our dessert finishing up our dinner.

The seafood is fresh and nice, expect the squid rings didn't taste good.. it's not well cooked. Chocolate MUD Cake is fair enough but it's little bit costly.

We really enjoy the atmosphere of this place, it's really nice and have a good time here.

We didn't wait for the toad racing coz it cost $5 and we don't really interesting on it..
