Great resort - compact and friendly. Nice rooms that could do with some updating but very good. Onsite food was good. I will be staying here again. Port Douglas has some great restaurants and cafes. It wasn't too touristy now either. Lost my hubby to golf on some of the days which was ok because there was some good shopping.

Our family went back to Peppers for the second time to celebrate our Mum's special birthday and we were not disappointed with the friendly service of the Peppers staff. The resort is amazing, it has the best pool where my 3 little nephews had so much fun. Our one bedroom suite was clean, big and the bed so comfy. I will definitely be back for another stay at Peppers in the near future and highly recommend it to anyone thinking of staying in Port Douglas.

A great resort, especially during the summer months when the beaches are closed due to box jellyfish. The show piece of this property is the artificial beach that separates the two main buildings. So if you have gone up during summer, you can still experience the sand between your toes!
It offers a truly relaxing atmosphere, with an unassuming sense of luxury. The rooms are of a decent size and feature large jacuzzis on most balconies. Plantation shutters, which create a truly tropical atmosphere, assist with privacy between balconies. Breakfast is very good, staff are knowledgeable... laid back but still professional. And most importantly, the location is excellent, with Macrossan St just 200m away.

Room Tip: Top floor rooms on the south side seem to be the best.

After a mix up with our room, the hotel staff went out of their way to rectify the situation. We were upgraded to a terrific room (102) and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. I must make particular mention of Myra (I think was her name) who bore the brunt of our initial complaint with complete cool and professionalism and then set out to diligently solve the problem for us.

A fantastic place to relax. We were there with a group of 14 for a 50th birthday and everyone was raving! Thanks guys. Will definitely be back one day

Great location, close enough to the main drag but far enough away from any noise. Beach and SLSC on your doorstep. Hotel accomodation was lovely, stayed in a spa room. My only complaint would be no screens on the doors to our outside area and the mossies had a field day. Proper door for privacy instead of sliding door on the bathroom would have been nice!

We stayed as a family at peppers for 9 nights the hotel was okay the rooms were average definitely not 5 star , our room had no curtains just window shutters which meant bright annoying rooms at night time no sleep for us but we requested a sheet on the window for some comfort. The rooms had also no lights just lamps which was annoying. We didn't get the 5 star feel. Some of the staff were lovely though and we did enjoy our breakfast every morning and the pool is really amazing , I think it's more like a 3 star resort though a bit of a waste of $$ wouldn't stay here again

Room Tip: Get a room facing the pool if you can. Hopefully they will invest in some curtains too

Our stay at Peppers Port Douglas was organised at the last minute and our stay was one of perfection. Located just a block back from Macrossan street meant restaurants and entertainment was at our fingertips, however we harldly left the stunning complex!!! A two bedroom apartment on the ground floor (spacious and impeccably clean) meant our two young girls could come and go from the tropical pool as they pleased. The pool was so welcoming our girls' swimming improved immensely in the time we were there. The added bonus of room service (if we wished) meant we didn't have to cook in our fully serviced apartment. It was such a treat to lie by the pool and be waited on by the professional and friendly staff; we felt quite spoilt! Even though the grounds, rooms and amenities were all impeccably groomed and clean, it was the staff at Peppers who made our stay truly wonderful; everyone was so friendly, welcoming and professional that we have booked to stay again next year!

Room Tip: If a family group, request a room on the ground floor with access to the pool. If a couple or singl...
