“Needs some love”

Mirage Country Club
Reviewed July 17, 2012

Gorgeous course - in it's heyday it must have been sublime. Owners should really put some effort into bringing it back to its former glory. Mixed feelings about the staff - Proshop reception leaves a lot to be desired - they are quiet so I would suggest being a bit friendlier and welcoming instead of argumentative would help. I feel a lot of the negativity is probably apathy towards the owners letting the property 'go'. Shame. Will still go back cause its nice golf.

Great layout, but brown grass everywhere, and greens ridiculously bad.

We love this golf course and have been visiting for years. I know it has recently changed hands but it is sad to see it in such a state of decline. The fairways and greens are full of weed, the greens have not been dressed for ever and on the back nine the broken sprinkler system means that large areas are a quagmire that is more than hard on the buggies. No drinks cart, no halfway house, no snacks..... There were only one other group on the course when we were there yesterday but even so we were 'accompanied' for the first nine by a tractor weed killing and not doing us any good
This place as been an icon for so long now Time to get the act together Please....

My husband played on this Golf Course today and regrets not playing at Sea Temple instead. I dropped off in the overgrown car park and from all accounts it didn't get any better. Don't bother. Go to Sea Temple.
