Fully support the excellent reviews this hotel has received. The design of the pool area is magical and the arrangement of the hotel rooms around the pool area is fantastic. To say more would be just repeating what others have iterated

From the moment we arrived we were welcomed with open arms. Our room was excellently appointed and contained more than we could ever have required. The staff were friendly, informative, humourous and extremely polite. Nothing was too much trouble for them.Sheryn and Phil the owners made a point of introducing themselves and Rupa on reception was more than helpful in recommending and booking tours. Breakfast by the pool was idyllic and the evening meal was exceptional. Sitting on our patio drinking wine and listening to the ocean was magical.A truly wonderful hotel.

We stayed at this hotel for a week at the end of our honeymoon. It is quite a small hotel which added to its appeal - especially as there were no children.

Our room / suite was a good size over looking the pool area. We had a lounge area, kitchette, beedroom and large bathroom with double size tub which was fantastic! The kitchenette had a large fridge, hobs, dishwasher and microwave and we had fresh milk and coffee for the cafetiere delivered daily. The room was alway cleaned to a high standard.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. There are DVD's and books available for you to borrow free of charge during your stay. There is also lots of information on trips and tours available.

The pool is not the largest but a good size for a small hotel and kept clean and well maitained. The gardens are also well maintained.

The hotel is only a short walk into the town - less than 5 mins and also just across the road from a beautiful beach.

Breakfast is a buffet served by the pool. A good selection of hot and cold drinks, cereals, toast, fruit, yoghurt and cooked breakfast and this was always fresh.

All in all a great hotel, clean, comforable, quiet with excellent location and facilities.

This place is not kid-friendly, but it is a beautiful, romantic small boutique hotel in Port Douglas. From here you are literally steps from the long stretch of white sand beach, and easy access to walking the whole charming resort town. You are also close to the Daintree Rainforest, and many dive boats leave from here to go scuba diving on the Great Barrier Reef. We went on our honeymoon and found it to be very romantic, like our own beach getaway. There is also a kitchenette so you can eat in, but we recommend a restaurant in town, Nautilus. Their complimentary breakfast was elegant with tropical fruits and pool-side seating. Pool had a secluded spa-setting, with lush vegetation surrounds.

We were travelling round Australia on our honeymoon and this was the best place we stayed. The hotel is small and family run resulting in very friendly and excellent service. Breakfast by the pool is lovely. The rooms had amazing facilities, including a huge bath, a small kitchen, areas to watch tv and to eat. DVDs and books were also available for use free of charge. There was a guest laundry which was handy. The front of the hotel overlooked the beach - so a two minute walk away. The main street of Port Douglas was a five minute walk away. This hotel is ideal for couples - as no children under 16 are allowed. We had an excellent stay - I wished we had stayed for longer!

We were delighted with the superb location and all the facilities at this hotel. Our room was well equipped with comfortable lounge area and balcony overlooking 4 mile beach. The staff were all friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast buffet was very good and it was great to have breakfast outside shaded by palms and exotic plants. We ate in the hotel on our day of arrival and were impressed with the quality and freshness of the food. We would definitely book this hotel again in any further visits to Port Douglas.
