“Small groups, knowledgeable Marine Biologists, Eco Friendly!”
Reviewed February 15, 2013

If you are looking for a personal experience to the reef with a small group, I would happily recommend Wavelength. The staff were very welcoming and made sure that they had time to personally chat to every person on board, which made for a lovely, friendly experience that you just don’t get on some of the larger vessels due to the larger number of passengers on board. What really impressed me was their focus on the importance of marine life. This trip to the reef, above all others that I’ve experienced, were careful to communicate how best to enjoy our marine environment in an eco friendly way… something that is definitely lacking aboard the larger boats which is a shame. Some great photos were taken, which you can purchase for a very reasonable price. We also had a family member with us who wasn’t very confident when snorkelling, the staff were amazing, offering one-on-one assistance when they saw that he was struggling at the beginning. A great trip with knowledgeable Marine Biologists on board which really does make the experience!

“A magical experience”
Reviewed February 5, 2013

Wavelength provided my husband and I with the perfect day out, from start to finish. The trip was well organized, the equipment clean and good quality and the information very comprehensive. The Staff were expert and fun, and Suz, the marine biologist on board, taught us a lot. We received snorkelling instruction and the views of the reef were amazing.

“One of the best days of our trip”
Reviewed February 3, 2013 via mobile

I cannot praise Wavelength enough!
I spent quite a lot of time looking into which company to use and finally decided upon Wavelength because it was a snorkel only boat, the sites they visit and the small group size. Our trip definitely met and well exceeded our expectations. We used their transfer service from Cairns which ran without a hitch and we were the first boat out of Port Douglas and the last boat back. Yes the trip out to the reef is about 90min, but it's well worth the wait. Opal reef was beautiful and we were free to explore as much or as little as we wanted. The food and staff were fantastic and to top a perfect day we saw a turtle and 4 sharks.

Definitely one of the most memorable days of our honeymoon!

“An experience to remember”
Reviewed February 1, 2013 via mobile

The weather was spot on for our trip out to the Barrier Reef. The reef was a must see for our trip and we were not disappointed. All the staff were passionate even those in the office, couldn't have asked for a better organised day. The smaller group made it a more personal experience and made this the highlight of our holiday.
