My wife and I stopped in for Lunch. The advertised outside T Bone Steak meal @ $12.50 caught our eye., which we both ordered.

The meal was fine however the fried chips were fantastic - so much so we had to go back and order an additional bowl - best Fries in Ozzy we reckon!!

Service was just ho hum - bored staff just doing their job.

We probably would go back again if passing at the right time,

We ate here twice in five days on our recent visit. The staff were welcoming and friendly and the food was good value. Between us we tried both specials that were on and were pleased with what appeared. Both the t bone and the barra were great. Well worth stopping in for a casual meal and drinks . Very suitable for young kids, high chairs and outside on a deck means parents dont have to worry if food gets dropped !

Stumbled onto it by accident. On the main street with tables and seats outside; plenty of character in the bars; reasonably priced drinks and food and the latter was of good quality. The night we visited there was a live MUSO in the main bar, and he was good.!! ( sixties and seventies )

The restaurant was chosen by chance and not our most inspired choice. The location is good and the menu seems fine and reasonably priced but we were very disappointed. All the meat ordered was over cooked and ordinary and not appetizing at all. The service was very slow and the waitresses were just going through the motions with no notion of service at all. There are plenty of much better options in Port Douglas

My husband and I arrived from Melbourne on the earliest flight so by 4pm we were feeling a little jet lagged. We literally walked past the Central and saw the AFL game live on the big screen plus a $12 early dinner special. We both had steak, chips and salad and for the price it was fantastic. The open environment and the footy live all added to our first night in Port Douglas memorable for the right reasons.
