“Great food, well priced”

We found the club to have great food, the fish taco was excellent and was relatively cheap. I would highly recommend the club for dinners close to the beach.

“Disappointing level of service and food.”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 26, 2012 via mobile

This is the second time we have eaten here on this trip and were really disappointed with the lack of enthusiasm and attitude from the staff. The cashier could really care less about her job and the bar tenders where just going through the motions.

Last time we ordered the goat cheese and pumpkin salad which was delicious. One of the girls ordered it again and said it was amazing. The two remaining girls order the Thai Fish Cakea which were like eating rubber. Awful! We only ate them because we were starving after a 4 mile walk along the beach. Will not go back here except for the cheap drinks. Too many other fabulous places to eat with impeccable service for the same money.

“Chalk Board Confusion”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 25, 2012

On the board
" Local reef fish pantried with lemon caper butter. Crumbed or deep fried."
What received ... deep fried!! Tough and greasy, credit given as full refund. What has happened since July, August ... longer the need to book, menu longer rates, food presentation quality and service all off. Partners steak, a bad example, tough and inviting. Nolonger that special one of a kind place to eat. So disappointed.

“Fabulous food and service”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 13, 2012

Held a surprise birthday party for my partners 50th here. Food is fab, service amazing, location unbeatable, great for kids, staff brilliant. If I lived in PD would eat here every week. Book ahead, there's a reason it's busy!

“Wouldn't rush back”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 11, 2012

Very busy, not enough staff, couldn't even find a menu and had to ask people on another table to borrow theirs.
Long queue to order food, waiting for an hour, when it finally arrived, no cutlery!
The rest of the family actually enjoyed their meals, mine was fish and chips, simple enough to get right but they used a very oily fish which was just unpleasant.
Not good value in my opinion, added to the disorganised chaos around you, find somewhere else in Port, there are plenty of other cheap options eg the Mexican on Macrossan street.
