We were in port Douglas for 7 nights and the weather was not good for visiting the reef until our very last day... We were only able to get onto this tour, as all outer reef tours were booked out. The island was pretty with nice shells and bits of dried coral. The sea was cloudy and it drizzled for 50% which did hamper our efforts in the seeing the reef and fish. However, it would have been great if some Eco friendly guides around where we're could easily seek the reefs and the fish even if when weather is perfect. There were several people which stood on the coral, and maybe these would assist them too.
Glass bottom boat assisted us in seeing lots of the reefs and some fish, much more than if just snorkeling alone, would recommend doing this whilst on the low isles.
Lunch was included and was buffet style, with plenty of food available..and also some hot soup which was great for those which snorkel led and were cold!
