The Low Isles was our destination, to acquaint the newbies with snorkeling and get everybody up to speed with a lot of patience and care. During the "lesson" from the island, we saw oysters the size of small sofas, and I followed a sea turtle in the water with my camera! There was a lot to see just off the island underwater, and on the island we were taken on a tour that explained the habitat of many birds and the history of the Low Isles. Following that, we had a gourmet lunch on board the Aquarius and "chummed" the black and white tip sharks along with some batfish and a remora or two. Then we went back in the water!! That was quite an accomplishment for a chicken like me, and I lasted five minutes or so. Many snorkeled their way back to the island, seeing more colorful fish and bright coral. The sail back was perfect. It was truly one of those experiences that you wish would never end.
