“Pub food, good location”
Reviewed November 9, 2013

A great location on the water serving reasonable food at reasonable prices. It gets pretty busy, so try to dine in the quieter moments.

“Tin shed - don't be fooled it's just pub food”
Reviewed November 6, 2013

Had dinner there Monday 4/11/13. Service was SLOW. Had to wait just under an hour for our meals from the time of ordering and paying. Having said that this place was very busy and packed with diners. The food is just passable. it's basic pub food but they charge like one third of the normal pub price. don't let the location on the river fool you into thinking you will be getting anything but mediocre pub food. I recommend you book as this place gets busy. if you are one of these people who seem to attract sand flies I suggest you take or use some aeroguard before you go at night as they were about. Seems to be staffed by back- packers and the english girl taking orders was pretty rude - maybe she was overwhelmed with the amount of orders. there are better places in Port Douglas... I personally would not eat here again.

“Pub Food in a Lovely Location”
Reviewed November 4, 2013

We went to this restaurant twice during a week stay in Port Douglas. A very nice location on the waterfront. On our first visit (lunch) I had the Greek salad that was delicious – lots of feta cheese and kalamati olives. However when I ordered the same meal on another visit (dinner) it had been drowned in vinaigrette and was rather inedible. My husband enjoyed both his meals. I would still go back to this restaurant if we have a return visit Port Douglas.

“WE KEPT GOING BACK!”
Reviewed October 31, 2013

This a great place to get a good meal in a relaxed environment at a reasonable price and the same for drinks. The restaurant is situated on a deck covered by a marquee type roof right on the edge of the harbour/river. The seats at the edge are the prime seats but it does not really matter where you are as you get a million dollar view over the water to watch returning yachts, boats etc. Very hot at the tables on the waters edge in the late afternoon but when the sun goes down- magic!! Staff are friendly and helpful . This is a restaurant where you go and order your meal at a desk. The meal is then served to your table. To say we went there 3 nights in 8 days says it all.
Relaxed, good dining and drinking without a mortgage! We will be back.

“Inflexible breakfast”
Reviewed October 28, 2013

We wandered in for a small breakfast of toast with tea & coffee.
The menu had a whole range of breakfasts most of which used Turkish bread.
I asked if they did toast. The answer was 'no' . So off we went.
