Harrison's hasn't lost its edge since our last visit to Port Douglas. We had an excellent meal, complemented by friendly and diligent service. We had out two children (aged 10 and 13) with us and felt very welcome nevertheless.
Despite the relaxed environment, the food was every bit the fine dining experience in terms of quality, presentation, texture and taste. The menu was interesting and broad, and even the kids menu defied the usual "chips with everything" approach that we are mightily sick of.
The one thing you need to remember when dining in Port Douglas is to book well in advance so that you get the time and night you want and to bring insect repellant for your ankles, legs and feet.
