We went to Java Blue for breakfast twice during our stay on Port Douglas and were totally happy both times. We sat outside and the counter service was fine. The first time they were playing sixties music and it was a pleasure to listen to while we were eating our breakfast wrap and berry pancakes – both very good – and drinking yummy coffee. The second time happened to be bin day in Port Douglas and the noise from the bin lorries overtook the music and so we couldn’t hear it so well. We had a stockman’s breakfast and another breakfast wrap, juice and coffee – again all very good. The toilets are in a block out the back, and were a touch scruffy.
